It's a Bird. It's a Plane. It's OCTOMOM!

I know I might be a little obsessed but I can't help myself. Let's just blame it on my hormones. It's a blanket justification for anything I do. I might as well take advantage of it while I can. Check out this video . A non-profit has offered Octomom (this name kills me by the way) some incredibly generous help that would truly assist her children without delving into taxpayer money. They offered this a week ago and she has yet to respond. What gives? Is she nuts? Do I really need to ask that question?

And, she's looking at houses in the 1 million dollar plus range. Are you kidding me? I grit my teeth as I write this and I want nothing more than to meet her on the street and shake her until the collagen drains out of her lips. I have other fantasies that involve superfly ninja moves but I'll keep those to myself. Thoughts?

  1. She is nuts. All around. On everything.

  2. I have really mixed feelings about this situation. On the one hand, I think this lady is selfish and attention-craved and completely irresponsible. On the other hand, I know it's not the kids' fault and I hope the family gets some help so they don't grow up in poverty on top of having a loony for a mom. The whole situation is just nuts...but I'm completely obsessed with watching the news coverage! It's like that monkey that got shot by the cops. Sick, but strangely addictive.

  3. I found this on CNN... http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/TV/02/20/duggar.parents.qanda/index.html
It does kind seem like a double standard, but still... It's just a weird thing.

  4. I'm so over this whole Angelina wanna-be and her psychotic-ness. (Is that even a word?) Clearly she's got major issues and those poor kids are who I feel so sorry for. They didn't ask to be brought into the crazy woman's life and they're going to end up being the victims many times over. It's for that reason that I hope the kids get the help that is needed to support them all, but what a shame that Octomom (I love the name too) is going to get exactly what she set out to attain...her 15 minutes and then some.

  5. Yep. It's the kids I feel sorry for too. But I also want to slap the woman silly. Sigh.

  6. Octomom, kind of sounds like a really bad James Bond parody, doesn't it?
