Cruise Gone Bad

http://gawker.com/5002269/the-cruise-indoctrination-video-scientology-tried-to-suppress

I am all about religious tolerance but I will not be joining the church of Tom Cruise fans anytime soon. This begs, BEGS to be discussed. What, with the secretive, unexplained acronyms and the pretentious laughter. I can hardly sit through it. It gives me the willies. Remember that scene in LOST where the kid from the others was tied up and forced to watch a psycho video loop? This video is the perfect candidate for that brand of torture.  Yikes.

  1. I'm one of the most Liberal people you will ever know when it comes to not condemning the Religious Beliefs of others, and, yes, I have been know to have some fun at the expense of others by pointing out contradictions in their stated beliefs, I do believe that if you have rooted feelings that make you feel secure in the existence of a supreme being, and that the way you live your life does not inflict pain or suffering on others, you've got a pretty good chance of seeing and spending time in a good place after you escape this crazy, messed up World. Yeah, it sounds a little Unitarian, but it's still a trip to Fountain Run away from being in smelling distance of Scientology, and, Cruise, man, that sucker is just NUTS. ;) Your turn.

  2. I hope and believe I am a very tolerant person; I have to be in order to qualify as a stupidity specialist. However, I had to turn off the video of Tom after 30 seconds. Way over the top arrogant and serious. The man doesn't appear to have a humble vein in his body.

  3. Yep, he's nuts. The sad part is that when I was younger I thought he was sort of sexy. Not something I would say out loud now!
